Chef Philip recently returned to Cafe Provence as Executive Chef after a stint at several Michelin Star Restaurants in France. He returns to his family’s restaurant with fresh ideas and an exciting new approach to the menu.
In France, Philip apprenticed in the kitchen at two Michelin Star Restaurants before traveling abroad. Philip worked as Chef de Cuisine at Cafe Provence, Cassis Modern Bistro in Leawood, Le Petanque Brasserie in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and The Fairmont Hotel on the Plaza in Kansas City.
Chef Philip was recently honored as one of the country’s top culinary talents in the inaugural edition of Best Chefs America, the first-ever peer review guide of U.S. chefs. He was selected after extensive interviews with fellow chefs and Best Chefs America analysts.
